Minor N, m and F < lat. minor: smallest, low student's slang

In student language, the minor is that which has the bad marks, in other term the last of the class. He is opposed thus to the major , which, by reciprocity, obtains him, on the other hand, the best results. By extension, a minor also designates the poor pupils, or those adopting a frame of mind aiming at making some the least possible.

Consequently it is advisable to differentiate the various species from minors which populate the student's medium:

- the “minor taffor”: this one works by giving itself evil but its failure is consequently all the more resounding because sign of intellectual or physical deficiencies notorious.
