Minogami camp
The camp Minogami is a holiday camp located in the area of the Mauricie, with the Quebec. The camp accommodates campers from 7 to 18 years since 1963.
The holiday camp, which forms today part of the family of the holiday camps Odyssée, borders the lake Minogami with Saint-Gerard-of-Laurentides the, close to Shawinigan.
Minogami acquired a great reputation in the field of forwardings of Boat-camp-site. Besides it has offered for more than thirty years a stay to the young people of 16 and 17 years called the Pioneers . Those take part in a forwarding of 23 day old boat-camp-site which extends on more than 500 km of lakes and rivers.
A 36 days forwarding has been also organized on the Rivière Rupert for a few years. The nearest installation of hydroelectric installations on this river however threatens survival of this forwarding for the years to come.
