Mino-den
The Mino-den (美濃伝) indicates one of the five traditions of Japanese forging mill for the Koto period (fine of the era Heian at beginning Momoyama). This tradition gathers various considered schools, to which the styles and techniques are often close.
School Akasaka Senjuin (赤坂千手院)
School whose origin is the Senjuin school of Yamato.- Characteristic general:

School Daido (大道)
Also called Omichi, active of the end Muromachi until the Shintô period.
School Ganmaku (岩捲)

School Hachiya Kanesada (蜂屋兼貞)
Originating in the Daruma school of Yamashiro. Very active starting from the end Muromachi.- Characteristic general:

School Kanefusa (兼房)
- Characteristic general:

School Kanemoto (兼元兼元)

School Kanesada (兼定)

- : - Sugata : katanas short in general, very few tantô
- : - Jihada : known-deki , mokume-hada with masame-hada about the shinogi-ji
- : - Hamon : o-midare , hataraki
- : - Bôshi : midare-komi , jizo or KB-maru with length kaeri
- Blacksmiths: Oya Kanesada (親兼定), Izumi No Kami Kanesada (和泉守兼?), Izumi No Kami Kanesada (和泉守兼定)
School Sakura Seki (坂倉関)

- Blacksmiths: Masatoshi (正利)
School Zenjo (善定)
Originating in the Tegai school of Yamato, of which it keeps the style. The name of this school is borrowed from the Buddhist vocabulary.- Characteristic general:
