The minks are small Mammifères of the family of the Mustélidés. Several S of the Mustela have this vernacular name:
-
Mustela lutreola - Mink of Europe.
- Mustela mink - Mink of America.
They are two distinct species, with different genetic capital. The mink of America is much larger (1,5 to 2 kg) that the mink of Europe (0,8 with 1kg). The exceptional quality of their Fourrure made mink one of the most required animals for this one.
