Ministry for the Health and the Social services of Quebec
The Ministry for the Health and the Social services of Quebec ( MSSS ) is the most important Québécois ministry, at least in budgetary terms. Directed by Mr. Philippe Couillard, of the liberal government of Mr. Jean Charest, the ministry is the person in charge of the organization of all the network of health (public and private) and of its orientations.

The network is directed by the minister and the deputy minister who manage the hospitals, the centers of readjustment, the centers of child welfare and youth as well as the private clinics, cabinets and private establishments of the province.

Health centres and of social services/Lans of services
Paraînés by the regional offices and created in December 2003 by the Law on the development agencies of lans of departments of health and social services, the lans of services (RLS) aim to bring to make the services to the population and them closer more accessible, coordinated better and continuous. In June 2004, 95 Health centres and of social services (CSSS) were established in each of the 95 RLS of the province. The CSSS gather the various establishments of the area.
Establishments
Under the direction of the Health centres and social services, the 302 establishments of the province gather the following installations: the local centers of Community services (CLSC), hospitals (CH) and health care centres of long life (CHSLD).
Accompaniment and support centers to the complaints
