Ministry for Health, Youth and the Sports
The Ministry for Health, Youth and the Sports is a Ministère government French which was created in its current structure during the composition of the Gouvernement Francois Fillon (1) of May 18th, 2007.
It is directed by Roselyne Bachelot-Narquin.
Role
The role of the ministry is defined by decree. It has authority on:- head office of health;

direction of the hospitalization and the organization of the care;
-
direction of the sports;
-
direction of youth and popular education;
-
direction of community life, employment and the formations;
-
direction of human resources, the administration and general coordination;
-
the general inspection of youth and the sports and other services mentioned with the last subparagraph of the article 1st of the decree of December 30th, 2005;
-
service with national competence “Olympic and paralympic Preparation”.
The State is responsible for the control of the sporting policies in France. He delegates to the sporting federations the power to organize and to promote the practice of their disciplines and supports them by the means of conventions of objective and the provision of the technical experts.
