Ministerial mediator
A ministerial mediator is a political director, one can then speak about governmental mediation , or a person named by a member of the government intervening within the framework of a measurement, a device or a situation to count the aspects which can raise difficulties and engage of the talks, to even find the means of solving a conflict persisting and being able to reach with the law and order by social movements or economic consequences.
Positioning
If it is named, the ministerial mediator is directly under the supervision of the political authority which named it.
The ministerial mediator does not have any room for maneuver and cannot guarantee to the parts that the solution or the agreements which they could work out will be followed by the Official Authority.
The ministerial mediator could be regarded as having functions of Ombudsman relative to listening (census of the complaints), without independence, nor neutrality or the impartiality. He has a role of door word of his Partial trusteeship.

March 22nd 1989: within the framework of the Corsica general strike of the civils servant in , the Prime Minister Michel Rocard names Michel Prada mediator. After opening of negotiations with the trade unions, he is recognized on March 25th an acknowledgment of failure.

In summer 2006, Nicolas Sarkozy, Minister of Interior Department, named thus a ministerial mediator, Arno Klarsfeld, called national Médiateur , within the framework of the development of its policy relating to selected immigration. In spite of the mediatization, the results remained unknown.
