Sequences of the Genome from 1 to 5 KB containing a variable number of repetitions from 15 to 100 nucleotides. They are present at all the species and are particularly studied at the man and the bacteria.
Bacteria
The polymorphic minisatellites of various stocks of the same bacterial species can be used to identify a bacterium.
