Minamoto No Tameyoshi

Minamoto No Tameyoshi (源為義) (1096 - 1156) is one of the members of the clan Minamoto, of which he was the chief. He is the grandson of Minamoto No Yoshiie. Minamoto No Tameyoshi was governor of the Province of Mikawa. It lined up at the sides of the Empereur Sutoku during the Rébellion of Hōgen, it was thus placed against the Empereur Go-Shirakawa. However, the Go-Shirakawa emperor gained the war against the emperor Sutoku and Minamoto No Tameyoshi was carried out.
