Many its compositions were create by the leader Karel Ančerl, in particular 2nd and 5th symphonies (in 1957 and 1961). Whereas the music of Kabeláč is not recorded practically any more today, the discs engraved by Karel Ančerl with the Czech Philharmonic orchestra make it possible to appreciate the 5th symphony, the passacaille Mystère of time and the improvisation for orchestra Hamlet .

Václav Neumann has on its side recorded the 8th symphony, always with the Czech philharmonic society and the French unit the Percussions of Strasbourg.
