Milord

Milord is a made up song of the repertory of Edith Piaf in 1959.
The words are of Georges Moustaki and the music of Marguerite Monnot. The song speaks about the meeting of a prostitute with a customer rich in evil of love.
Several other artists interpreted it, in particular Dalida, in Italian and German. Like Georges Moustaki itself.
With the Netherlands a version Dutchwoman with the same title of Corry Brokken because much of controversies in 1960. In certain circles conservatists of the Netherlands the topic was still taboo.
