Miloš Holaň

Miloš Holaň (born on April 22nd, 1971 with Bílovec in Czechoslovakia today town of Czech Republic) is a former professional player of Hockey.

Career in club

It begins its career while playing in its country for the team from the TJ Vítkovice which evolves/moves then in 1.liga, higher Czechoslovakian division at the 18 years age. Between 1990 and 1992, he plays for the club of HC Dukla Trenčín and is crowned champion at the time of the second season.

He then turns over to play for its first club for the last season of the Czechoslovakian 1.liga . Vítkovice loses finally against HC Sparta Prague in four matches (3-1) but despite everything, Holaň receives the Crosse of Gold as a better Czechoslovakian player of the season. He is also elected better defender of the season and Meilleur player of the series.

In 1998, for its return to the play, it signs with its first professional club, the HC Vítkovice which evolves/moves then in Czech Extraliga. He plays his last season in 1999-2000 while beginning with HC Oceláři Třinec then by finishing the season with EHC Freiburg evolving/moving in 2.bundesliga the second German division .

International career

It represents the Czechoslovakia at the time of the championship of the world junior in 1990 and 1991. At the time of the two editions, the team gains the money medal. In 1993, it plays for Czechoslovakia at the time of the senior tournament and gains a new bronze medal.

In 1994, it is selected to belong to the news team of Czech Republic who takes part in the championship of the world, the team finishing in the seventh place.

Career of trainer

In 2004-05 and 2005-06, he is assistant trainer of Vladimír Vůjtek behind the bench of the Czech club of HC Vítkovice.
