Psychometrer Eiji is a Manga of Masashi Asaki and Yûma Andô.
Titrate original: サイコメトラー EIJI ( saikometorâ eiji ).
Published in French with the editions Kana, and placed in the category Dark Kana . Twenty-five volumes translated out of twenty-five, last volume published in France in March 2006.

Short summary of the history

Eiji, high-school pupil brawler, have the gift of Psychométrie: indeed, while coming into contact with an object or a person, it receives in the form of flash of the " fragment of the vie" of that Ci. Only people with the current of sound " pouvoir" are his/her Emi half-sister and her best friend Yusuke.
It is at the time of the arrival of a murderer in series called Moebius that Eiji meets charming it Shima inspector. That Ci rather quickly discovers the truth on Eiji having made a thesis on the psychometrer when it stays still in police academy. Thus collaboration began from this inspector of shock and the psychometrer.
Thus the first volume begins from this saga of police stories a little except standards. The scenario arrives has to mix scene of action very agreeably, of humor, while mixing with it with the very major subjects enough little treated in the usual mangas (rapes…). One thus discovers there with a very great joy what are the " monomaniaques" with amongst other things Fukushima, large fan of the costumes of police force (masculine or female) not hesitating has to carry them and has to help, without wanting it, Shima and his friend to solve some enquêtes.
It is thus with a great pleasure which one lets oneself carry in the many investigations following one another throughout 25 volumes which account this manga. The scenario is without fault and very the good quality of the drawing makes that one arrives has to feel the feelings of the characters, that it is their joy, their sorrow to see even their hatred. The evolution of the relation between Eiji and Shima is very interesting besides to follow throughout the histoire.
To note, the mangas had such a success that it was adapted in " series live" (series played with truths actors), which is rather rare, and it also had an adaptation concerned video on playstation 2 to Japan during 1999.
