Miles Davis Quintet, Philharmonic Hall At Lincoln Center, New York City, February 12th, 1964 (album)

Public recording of the Miles Davis Quintet on February 12th, 1964 in Philharmonic Hall, Lincoln Center in New York City.

The quintet played within the framework of one evening in favor of the electoral fights for the racial equality. It is the last participation of the saxophonist George Coleman in the formation  ; it will be évincé group by the young beater Tony Williams which considered it too traditional and not enough " free".

There exist various versions of the recording under the names of: " Four" & more (Columbia), Miles Davis Quintet (Giants off jazz), Miles Davis in Concert, My Funny Valentine (Columbia).
