Mike Rotunda

Lawrence Michael (Mike) Rotunda (born the March 30th 1958), so known like Captain Mike Rotundo , Michael Wallstreet and Irwin R. Schyster , is old a American all-in wrestler . He is currently producer with WWE.

Career

After having carried out its diplomas with the Syracuse University , Rotunda began wrestling in 1981 like a favorite from the fans to the Championship Wrestling from Florida . It often made team with her true brother-in-law, Barry Windham.

World Wrestling Federation (1984-1987)

Rotunda and Windham joined the World Wrestling Federation and became US The Express train in 1984. They gained WWF World Tag TEAM Championship twice, carrying it the first time vis-a-vis Dick Murdoch and Adrian Adonis in January 1985. The largest competition of US Express' was with The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff, against which they lost the titles with WrestleMania I. For this period, an event not envisaged proceeded after WrestleMania in Georgia. By incident, the US Express train recovered the titles by team at the time of a House show owing to the fact that Nikolai Volkoff could not intervene quickly. National Wrestling Alliance (1987-1991)

Rotunda left the WWF beginning 1987 and turned over to Florida, where it gained the NWA Florida Heavyweight Championship in March. Here, it competed with the " Shock Troops" of Sir Oliver Humperdink.

Later in the year, Rotunda joined promotion affiliated to the National Wrestling Alliance, the Jim Crockett Promotions, where it was in a level limited as a face before becoming heel and joining the Varsity Club of Kevin Sullivan, a group of all-in wrestlers with bases of fight amateure.

Rotunda gained NWA World Television Championship of Nikita Koloff in January 1988 and ended up giving again the title of Florida with Steiner. It began then a competition with Jimmy Garvin because Sullivan wanted his wife Precious. Steiner left finally the clan and feudait with Rotunda, them from now on enemy exchanging the title TV before Rotunda does not lose it against Sting.

" Dr. Death" Steve Williams and daN Spivey joined Varsity Club fine 1988, and Rotunda made team with Williams to gain NWA World Tag TEAM Championship of the Road Warriors. It trained a clan made up of Abdullah the Butcher and Norman the Lunatic which competed with the new gang of Kevin Sullivan, the " Sullivan' S Slaughterhouse" (Cactus Jack, Buzz Sawyer, and Bam Bam Bigelow).

Semi-1990, Rotunda was again heel and became Michael Wallstreet with Alexandra York as managing. This was of short duration, Rotunda left the NWA for a larger role with the WWF beginning 1991.

World Wrestling Federation (1991-1995)

With the WWF, Rotunda became Irwin R. Schyster ( I.R.S. ) and is known for this character. Irwin R Schyster was an inspector of the taxes (it was shown like coming directly from Washington, D.C) which badgered all the faces and the fans, ordering to them to pay their taxes. However, he was a good technician on the boxing ring - what ammenait it later to train the " team; Money Inc. " with Ted DiBiase and together the two men gained the WWF World Tag TEAM Championships three times. The first reign of Money Inc. was with depends on Road Warriors, making of Rotunda the only all-in wrestler in team have beaten Warriors twice for the titles by team. As a " I.R.S., " the largest competition in solo of Rotunda was with Razor Ramon. It also engaged of the feuds with Tatanka, and the Undertaker. Rotunda briefly made party of the " Million Dollar Corporation " of DiBiase before leaving the WWF for the World Championship Wrestling.

World Championship Wrestling (1995-2000)

When it returned with the WCW, it took again its role of Michael Wallstreet, adopting attitudes similar to those of Ted DiBiase. Its character and his abilities on the boxing ring were the same one as the character of I.R.S, but it failed to recover its success, in spite of to have changed its name into VK Wallstreet (a pun on Vincent Kennedy McMahon) and Mister Wallstreet. It briefly joined the NWo on request for DiBiase after having beaten Mike Enos at the time of the edition of WCW Nitro of the 12/9/96, and having fought with the All Japan Pro Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling as a member of the " nWo Japan". In spite of its implication in the nWo, it was transfered of the clan by J.J. Dillion on April 21st, 1997 because its contract with the nWo was apparently invalid, but it continued to declare itself like a " anti-WCW" , taking part like a jobber in WCW Saturday Night.

In 1999 it reformed the Varsity Club with Kevin Sullivan, but this club did not ajamais found the level of the past, in party following the many wounds of Rotunda, the team was finally dissolved later in 2000.

After career

Rotunda continued catcher with the Japan before it takes its retirement to launch a company of Sécurité with his wife (the girl of Blackjack Mulligan) in 2004.

Rotunda was enlisted by the WWE like a producer in 2006.

Rotunda has also a son (Wyndham) who currently plays in the NCAA Division 1 college football in Troy University de Troy, Alabama.
