Biography

Youth

Mike Peters was born the October 9th 1943 with Saint Louis in the United States. It made its studies there and receives in 1961 a diploma of the Christian college of the brothers Christian ( Christian Brothers College High School ). It obtains a diploma of Beautiful arts of the university of Washington into 1965 before making its classes in the team of " Chicago Daily News". From 1966, it carries out two years of service in the army of the United States. After its military service, it turns over to the " Chicago Daily News" before joining the " Dayton Daily News" in 1969.

Mike Peters saw today in Sarosotra, in Florida, in company of his Marian wife and her three daughters, Marci, Tracy and Molly.

The cartoon

It then multiplies the political caricatures regularly published by many newspapers before being exposed in galleries. He also imagines a series of cartoons, diffused on television right before information. He ends up obtaining the Prix Pulitzer in his speciality.

In 1985, it creates Grimmy with quasi-immediate success. This series, classified among the comic first strips, is today published in the United States by more than eight hundred newspapers, among which the New York Daily News, the Washington Post and Los Angeles Herald Examiner.
