Mike Mainieri
Mike Mainieri is a Vibraphoniste, Compositeur and Arrangeur of jazz.
Mike Mainieri only writes pieces for Vibraphone (such as Solo Vibes, in Live in Tokyo 1986) which make sound this instrument, beforehand midifié, like an orchestra with large complete, the low ones, songs and counter-melodies are present there. One of its more beautiful chorus is probably that of Beyrut (in the Magnétic disc).
Mike Mainieri is the founder of the group Steps Ahead. He is the type-setter many works such as Sara' S Touch, Beyrut, Oops…
