Mike Keane

Michael “Mike” Keane (born the May 29th 1967 with Winnipeg with the Manitoba) is a right winger Canadian professional of Hockey currently playing for the Moose of Manitoba in the American Ligue of hockey (LAH).

Career of player

Mike Keane signed as a free agent the September 25th 1985 with the Canadian of Montreal and started her career in National league of hockey (LNH) in 1988. It spent eight seasons to Montreal and was captain of the team starting from April 1995 until in December 1995. During the season 1995-1996, Keane at summer exchanged with Patrick Roy with the Avalanche of Colorado in exchange of Jocelyn Thibault, Andrei Kovalenko and Martin Rucinsky. During the summer of 1997, Keane signed as a free agent with the Rangers of New York, where he played moitiée one season before being still exchanged with the Stars of Dallas. Mike played with this team until in 2000-2001, helping the Stars to gain the Coupe Stanley in 1999 like turning over to the finale of the invaluable trophy the following year. It began the season 2001-2002 with the Blues of St-Louis but finished this season in Colorado. Keane remained with Colorado until it leaves to go to join the Canucks of Vancouver at the beginning of the season 2003-2004.

At the beginning of the season 2005-2006, Keane signed in its birthplace with the Moose of Manitoba in the American Ligue of hockey . He is now a full-time player in this team in addition to in being the captain.

Mike Keane gained the Coupe Stanley with three recoveries with the Canadian in 1993, with the Avalanche in 1996 and with the Stars in 1999. It is one of the eight only players of the history of LNH to have gained the Coupe Stanley with three teams différentes.
