Michael Ray Barrowman known as Mike Barrowman (born the December 4th 1968 with Costa Mesa, California) is a swimmer states-unien, specialist in the pitch-stirrer.

Biography

Mike Barrowman is one of the pioneers of the Wave-Style , a technique of pitch-stirrer.

It took part in two Olympic Games of summer, those of Seoul in 1988, where it is classified 4th of the 200 m brews and those of Barcelona, in 1992, where it is Olympic champion of this same discipline.

It was also world champion in 1991.

Mike Barrowman was swimmer of the team of the Université of Michigan during four years. It gained consecutively, into 1989,1990 and 1991, the title 200 yards brews NCAA and held record NCAA of this discipline (1 ' 53" 77) during eleven seasons, of 1990 to 2001, year when Brendan Hansen charms to him.

It beat six times consecutively, between 1989 and 1992, the world records of the 200 m brews that it held during more than thirteen years, another record of longevity.

The monthly magazine Swimming World Magazine decreed to him the title of swimmer of the year two years of continuation, in 1989 and 1990.

He is now trainer with the Cayman Islands.
