Miguel of Madrid Hurtado
Miguel of Madrid Hurtado (born the December 12th 1934) is a Mexican politician.
Biography
He studies the right to UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autónoma of Mexico City), then works for the Banque of Mexico (the Central bank of the country) and teaches the Droit. Between 1970 and 1972, it works for the Pemex, the national company of Pétrole.Jose López Portillo indicates it in 1976 Minister for the budget and planning.
With the presidential elections of the July 4th 1982, it gains 74,3% of the voices and becomes president the 1 {{er}} December 1982.
The September 19th 1985, at the time of the earthquake of Mexico City, its government empetré in corruption affairs was shown of incompetence and he refused the international assistance. The resentment of the population in its connection appears during the inauguration of the world 1986.
Its mandate is completed the November 30th 1988.
Carlos Salinas de Gortari succeeds to him.
