Miguel Llobet
Miguel Llobet Solés is a type-setter and a Spanish guitarist born the October 18th 1878 with Barcelona and died in this same city the February 22nd 1938. One owes him the first recordings of traditional Guitare, realized as of 1925.
Biography
Wire of a wood-carver, Miguel Llobet quickly develops artistic talents, of which painting, that it will practice all his life. It begins the study of the guitar in 1889 with Magín Alegre which makes him listen to a concert of the guitarist virtuoso Antonio Jiménez Manjón, following what it decides to devote its life to the guitar. It will become in 1894 raises Francisco Tárrega under the direction of which it will study the guitar with the municipal academy of music of Barcelona.Miguel Llobet gives its first concert out of Spain to Paris in 1904, presented by Ricardo Viñes, celebrates pianist interprets works of Debussy. It is at that time that he attends Parisian type-setters such as Paul Dukas, Claude Debussy, Maurice Ravel, Isaac Albéniz, and Manuel of Falla. He travels through the Germany in 1921 and occurs with Munich, Leipzig, Dresden, Cologne and Stuttgart.
