Miguel Garau begins her studies of guitar at 9 years with Juan Leguizamon and Mabel Pico, and after several experiments in the popular music, it is allowed with the National Academy " Juan Jose Castro" of Buenos Aires from where it leaves in 1983 graduate the Higher Class Guitar.
In 1978, during its studies, it creates a duet of guitars with Fernando Millet. The talent of the young musicians filled with enthusiasm celebrates it professor and interprets Jorge Martinez-Zarate which guided them and improved them in the art of the play with two. Together, they gain the first price in several international contests: Contests of Chamber music of Buenos Aires, Promociones Musical, International festival of the Young Soloists of Bordeaux.
Miguel Garau occurred in concert halls re-elected such as the Royal Festival Hall (London), Theater Diligentia ($the Hague), Philharmonic Salle of Kiev, Olympia (Paris), Cemar Reçit Hall (Istanbul), Grand Theater of Bordeaux, etc - and its international career led it in many countries: Edinburgh, Istanbul, Liege, Havana, Alicante, Berlin, Stuttgart, the Canaries, Volos, Cordoue, Aschaffenburg, Paris, Skopje, Carthagène, while regularly lending its contest to radio transmissions and televised: BBC, Spanish RTV, Radio France, Turkish TV, etc
He also played with the Symphony orchestra of Istanbul, English Chamber Orchestrated, and the Symphony orchestra of Cordoue (under the direction of Léo Brouwer), and several artists of reputation divided the poster with him: Veronique Nash (piano), Chantal Good-Saintcome (soprane), Hilda Herrera (piano and composition). For a few years, it has occurred regularly with the Quatuor Took precedence Vista around a repertory with horse over the classical musics and popular, but also with the service of the rehabilitation of the type-setter Antoine Lhoyer of which it created several works among which the Concerto opus 16 in its original version for guitar and string quartet, the Variations on a Russian Air, the Large Duet concerting Opus 28, as well as the Trio Opus 38 for guitar, violin and viola recently reconstituted by Baudime Jam.
