Miguel Delibes
Miguel Delibes is a Spanish writer, born the October 17th 1920 with Valladolid.
It obtained the Prix Nadal in 1947 for its first novel sank It LED ciprés are alargada ( the shade of the cypress is lengthened ). Its novels are held for the majority within the framework of the Castille of the post-war period. Some describe rural environment like El camino ( the Way , 1950), Diario of a cazador ( Journal of a hunter , 1955), Las missed ( the Rats , 1962) or later innocent Los santos ( innocent Saints , 1982). Others have as a framework of the medium-sized cities of province, like Mi idolatrado hijo Sisí (1953) or Cinco will horas idiot Mario ( Five Hours with Mario , 1971).
It obtained the Prix Cervantes in 1993 for the whole of its work. It supported at its beginnings, the writer Francisco Umbral. ----
