Miguel Alemán Valdés (* Sayula, September 29th 1900 - † Mexico City, May 14th 1983 was President of Mexico of 1946 with 1952
He was senator of the State de Veracruz between 1934 and 1936, then governor of this same State between 1936 and 1940.
Manual Ávila Camacho, the future president of Mexico, charged it with carrying out the electoral campaign. Once elected, Camacho named it Secretario de Gobernacion (Minister of Interior Department).
It became President of Mexico the 1 {{er}} December 1946 while succeeding Manual Ávila Camacho.
Miguel Alemán is the first civilian elected with the presidency since the beginning of the revolution. The PRM becomes the PRI, institutional revolutionary Parti, divided into three sectors, workman, peasant and popular. Alemán is devoted to economic development. The control mechanisms clientelists being pressed on cacic the buildings are reinforced, as well by the institution of the Ejido as by the system of sole party and its bonds supporters of corporatism with the trade unions. During the mandate of Alemán, the Femme S had the right to vote in the municipal elections.
Its mandate was completed the November 30th 1952. The following day, Adolfo Ruiz Cortines succeeded to him.
It directed then the national council of tourism during 25 years. He died in Mexico City.
