Biography

Miguel Ángel Martín Perdiguero begins her professional path with the team Kelme in 1997. It gains its first victory the following year (GP International Mitsubishi), before passing in the formation Once. Good sprinter, it gains the GP Miguel Indurain and several stages over Spanish races, such as the Turn of Asturies, the Turn of Burgos or the Catalan Week. He is also at ease on more broken races: he is 2nd of Subida Al Naranco and of Escalada Montjuich in 1999 has, and gains the classification of the mountain of the Bicycle Basque in 2002.

Mertin Perdiguero often changes team. It is in the team lately created that it carries out its best season, in 2004, whereas it is 32 years old. After several podiums on one day races (GP Indurain, Subida Al Naranco, GP Llodio) or stages (Catalan Week), it defers two stages of the Bicycle Basque, then dominates the Tour of Catalonia, by glanant 3 of the 7 stages, as well as the classifications general, by points and of the mountain. It changes team once again in 2005. It takes part in its first and single Tour de France in 2006 at the sides of Floyd Landis, winner deposed of the title for doping.

It takes its retirement at the end of the season 2006, estimating " persécuté" by the UCI and its controllers anti-doping, and after being themselves declared against the sanctions in the event of doping. In 2007, it is elected city council man (Popular party) of a commune of the suburbs of Madrid.
