Might and Magic IV: Clouds of Xeen (original title: Clouds off Xeen) is a video game of role left in 1992 on platform PC and Operating system MS-DOS. It was developed by the studio New World Computing. It is the 4^e shutter of the series Might and Magic. In English XEEN is an acronym for Xylonite Experimental Environment Nacelle .

History

Might and Magic IV is focused on the events which occurred after Might and Magic III: Islands of Terra . There are disorders on the grounds of Xeen. A mysterious criminal of the name of Lord Xeen claimed the land ownership and sows terror throughout the world. A new group of adventurers must be created to neutralize it and save the grounds of Xeen.

Gameplay

Might and Magic IV uses an engine identical to that of Might and Magic III: The Islands of Terra and the gameplay is almost similar. The stress is laid on the sequences kinematics which became possible thanks to hard drives of greater capacity. Graphics in general also finer and is coloured.

This play can be combined with its successor Might and Magic V: the Hidden side of Xeen to form Might and Magic: World of Xeen , a rectangular planetoid comprising two faces.
