Prince de Pologne

In 1014, at the request of his/her father, it goes in Bohemia to carry out a subversive work there. It is stopped and will be returned to his/her father only against the payment of a ransom. In 1016, Rycheza (Ryksa) gives to birth to Casimir Ier the Restorer.

King de Pologne

The June 17th 1025, died of Boleslas Ier the Valiant one, Mieszko II Lambert succeeds to him while being crowned king de Pologne by Hipolit, the December 25th 1025, according to the will of his/her father, although it is not the elder one.

This succession is not accepted by his/her two brothers, Bezprym and Otton, which are an ally in the person of Conrad II Salic the which has problems with the Burgundy, the Lotharingie and the Hungary (of combined of Mieszko II) about the succession in Bavaria. In 1026, Mieszko II must face a serious rebellion caused by his/her two brothers and Conrad II. The plot against Mieszko II fails, kind Bezprym to be exiled in the Rus' of Kiev and Otton in the Saint Worsens. This rebellion prevented Mieszko from supporting a revolt in the Saint Worsens whereas Conrad II was with Rome.

In 1028, Mieszko II attacks the Saxony while Canut Large the lance an offensive against the Norway and that Etienne Ier of Hungary tackles the Saint Worsens. Mieszko II plunders and devastates Eastern Saxony before moving towards the mouth of the Oder to give of the order in Poméranie Western. In 1029, Conrad II launches an attack of reprisals against Poland whereas the Czech take again the Moravie in Poland. Mieszko II pushes back the offensive of the emperor Conrad II in the area of Bautzen (in Lusace).

In February 1030, Mieszko II launches a new attack against Saxony, with the Luticiens, plunders the area between the Saale and the Elba, whereas the Hungarian attack the Bavaria. In summer, Conrad II and the Czechs launch a counter-offensive which shows a defeat against the Hungarians while Mieszko II is called on its Eastern border following the catch of Bełz by Rus' of Kiev.

In September 1031, the Saint Worsens and Rus' of Kiev launch an offensive against Poland whereas Bezprym starts a new rebellion. The emperor Conrad II takes again Lusace, Rus' of Kiev seizes the strengthened places of red Ruthénie and the area of Przemyśl. Mieszko II must flee in Bohemia, at Oldrich, where it was probably émasculé. Bezprym seizes the power and recognizes the suzerainty Germanic Empereur Conrad II, Poland becoming again a duchy.

Duke of Poland

In 1032, after the assassinations of Bezprym and Otton, Mieszko II returns from Bohemian and finds a country mined by fratricidal fights between principal the Magnat S. It will endeavor to reunify the country. In 1033, the Saint Worsens showing itself threatening, Mieszko II gives up its title of king, recognizes the suzerainty of the emperor and sign a treaty dividing Poland between him, its Dytryk cousin and the brother of Othon (Mersebourg meets).

With died of the brother of Othon, Mieszko II drives out Dytryk and reunifies Poland while Conrad II is with the catches with Luticiens and the Czechs. The May 10th 1034, unpopular Mieszko II is assassinated, undoubtedly following a plot of the Aristocratie. It will follow one period of chaos from there.

For the posterity, it will remain like Mieszko II Lambert the Indolent one, following its catastrophic end of reign.
