Midgard

Emilie Jolie is a musical tale of Philippe Chatel left in disc in 1979. Its first interpretation joins together great names of the French song (Alain Souchon, Louis Chédid, Eddy Mitchell…).

The tale became traditional and a reference like Musical comedy for children.

A televised adaptation of the tale, realized by Jean-Christophe Averty is diffused on the French television channel Antenne 2 in December 1980.

It was adapted for the first time to the Théâtre in 1985 in a setting in scene of Robert Fortune and was assembled to the Cirque of Winter then to the Casino of Paris.

The spectacle was taken again, in a setting in scene of Philippe Chatel in 2002 with the Théâtre Mogador, then with the Grand Rex, then in round in all the Zenith of France, then in the theaters. The round was completed on January 31st, 2005. It gathered more than 400.000 spectators. The DVD of the spectacle was sold with 129.000 specimens.
