MCP is a Sigle which means M icrosoft C ertified P rofessional.

It is a Certification coming from to Microsoft indicating a level of control and knowledge from the tackled subject. It is the positive test of a QCM including/understanding from 40 to 80 questions according to the topics. There exist examinations on various products and various specialities like the administration network, the development or the use of tools Bureautique.

Certifications

It is possible to cumulate several Microsoft certifications to obtain higher certifications:

• Customer support: MCDST (2 examinations).
• Administration network: MCSA (4 examinations), MCSE (7 examinations).
• basic Administration of data: MCDBA (4 examinations).
• Development: MCAD (3 examinations), MCSD (5 examinations).
• Use Office: MSO
• Teaching: MCT

Formation

Each examination costs between 100 and 200 euros.

It is possible to pass these examinations as a free candidate while being based on its preliminary knowledge. In France there exist formations by alternation, the student is then in Contrat of professionalisation with the company which engaged it. It follows a cycle between one and two weeks in progress, and between two and three weeks in company. The formation lasts one year.
