Microsoft Space Simulator
Microsoft Space Simulator is a Simulateur of space flight programmed for MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows. It is one of the first to propose space simulation of universal use (and in addition, it is the best until the arrival of Orbiter ). Also, like the other simulators of space flight, it requires of its user a certain knowledge of the concepts of the Celestial mechanics and space Mécanique. It proves to be remarkably easy to handle, even for the inexperienced users (but sufficiently given).
Microsoft Space Simulator was published in 1994 by Microsoft. It was developed by BAO Ltd. (the company directed by Bruce Artwick, which was also behind the development of Microsoft Flight Simulator with Charles Guy as programmer as a chief. One can consider that it is one of the last simulators developed for MS-DOS.
It is important to stress that it is a simulation, not a play. The Space Simulator can often frustrate, because of its complexity, its difficulty and its realism, but a successful mission is at the same time an important reward decreed with the pilot for his skill.
