Microsoft Office Communicator

Microsoft Office Communicator is software customers for unified Communications of company making it possible to the collaborators of a company to communicate in real-time thanks to the use of the Instant messaging, the VoIP and the Vidéoconférence. Contrary to Microsoft Office Outlook, its counterpart for the Email, Office Communicator cannot be used like an autonomous application, but requires the installation of Microsoft Office Communications Server. Communicator replaces Windows Messenger in the environments of company.

Office Communicator 2007 was launched in October 2007.
