Microrégion de Santa Maria
The microrégion of Santa Maria is one of the microrégions Rio Grande C Sul pertaining to the mésorégion of the Center-Ouest of the Rio Grande C Sul. It is formed by the association of thirteen municipalities. It recovers a surface of 11 736,324 km ² for a population of 373.105 inhabitants ( IBGE - 2005 ). Its density is of 31,8 hab. /km ². Its IDH is of 0,824 (UNDP/2000).
