The microrégion of Mossoró is one of the seven microrégion S which subdivides the mésorégion of the western of the State of the Rio Grande C Norte with the Brésil.
It comprises 6 municipality S which gathered: 296189 inhabitants in 2006 for an total surface area of 4199 km ².
