Microrégion de Cruz Alta
The microrégion of Cruz Alta is one of the microrégions Rio Grande C Sul pertaining to the mésorégion of the North-western of the Rio Grande C Sul. It is formed by the association of fourteen municipalities. It recovers a surface of 8 449,170 km ² for a population of 159.434 inhabitants ( IBGE - 2005 ). Its density is of 18,9 hab. /km ². Its IDH is of 0,770 (UNDP/2000). It is bordering on the Argentine.
