Micropoint (group of music)
Composed of Al Core and Radium, Micropoint was one of the pillars of the French Techno hardcore.
Biography
Micropoint was a headlight group of the French scene Techno hardcore. In spite of its dissolution, there remains a reference on the matter and remains quite alive, as can testify its réappartitions " to them; postmortem " (denière in date: Live@Ososphère-Strasbourg-29-09-07).
Neurophonie , the 1st album of Micropoint: Neurophonie , their first album, is a phenomenal rise to power, reviewing and without concessions, all that the industrial hardcore can propose like heavy psychic hammering into low. This album is regarded as a genuine proclamation hardcore, work which under a format album theorized the music of the French free-parts of end of the year 90. The frenchcore term can qualify the music of Micropoint. All is joined together to spend 57 minutes 47 of intense happiness hardcore, happy aspired and the samples cuisants which sat the reputation of the duet. Radioactive until the design of the small pocket, this album whose reputation is not really any more to make, is a large reference. To note, that the samples voice used in Neurophonie are directly drawn from THX 1138.
International Anesthesia , the 2nd album of Micropoint:
The album " Internationale" anesthesia; is to a certain extent disappointing, the bar having was put very high with Neurophonie. but in spite of that, there nevertheless remains a chief of work of the French hardcore. To note the participation on this album of Manu Malignant the, Fast Forward (Did.S/battery) and of EHG (singer of LTNO)
Lastly, the posthumous double-album Re-installed which leaves in 2005, delivers to us CD of news (1996 - 2001) hitherto available only out of vinyls and recorded CD live to Verdun in 2001, on which one finds, in addition to Radium and Alcore, the M.C. Youthman and the beater Did.S (Fast Forward).
The duet having being separated since 2001, it is again announced on the front of the scene, in official reformation with a round and a new album in 2007. To thus follow…
