The Alta Rocca (not to be confused with the economic regrouping of the community of communes éponyme) is a micro area of the interior of the Corse-du-Sud gathering sixteen communes:

• Quenza
• Holy-Lucie-with-Tallano
• San-Gavino-di-Carbini (only the borough in mountain)
• Tightened-di-Scopamène
• Sorbollano
• Zérubia
• Zonza (only the borough in mountain)
• Zoza

This micro area makes a surface of 415 km ² and counted 2.513 inhabitants with the census of 1999.
