Micrococcus

Micrococcus one is represented by Bactérie S with positive coloring of gram pertaining to has family of the Micrococcaceae . The cells are hull S from 0,5 to 2 µm diameter, often grouped in pair or tetrad, generally motionless ( Micrococcus agilis is mobile). They are aerobic bacteria, with oxydative metabolism, having a Catalase, chimio-organotrophe.
These bacteria have as a habitat the ground, the fresh water, the food; they are frequent on the skin of the Man and the animals.

  • Micrococcus luteus is isolated from the skin of the mammals.
