Microcachrys tetragona

Microcachrys tetragona is a species of Conifère Dioïque pertaining to the family of the Podocarpaceae . It is the only species of the kind Microcachrys .

The plant is originating in the west of the Tasmanie where it forms, in altitude, of the bushes of 1 meter in height. The sheets are scales. The sheets are in pairs, opposed, décussées, resembling those of Diselma archeri of the family of the Cupressaceae .
