MicroCred
MicroCred is an investment company in Microfinance, created in July 2005 by PlaNet Finance and investors partners, IFC, General society and Axa Bank Belgium. These founding shareholders were joined in 2007 by the French Agency of the Development and the European Investment Bank.
Based in Paris, the purpose of MicroCred is to create a group of bank specialized in microfinance addressing itself to populations excluded from the traditional financial system. In the countries of its institutions, MicroCred hopes to contribute to the improvement of the living conditions of its customers and their family but also, through them, to the economic development of the country.
To date the MicroCred group is already present at the Mexico, Madagascar and considers the opening of three new institutions in 2007.

MicroCred Mexico City
MicroCred Mexico City is operational since February 2006. It is about the first institution of microfinance of the MicroCred group. MicroCred Mexico City has the role of offering to the microphones, small and medium-size companies Mexican an access at finance departments. This last category of the active population remains indeed in margin of the traditional finance departments.
- MicroCred Madagascar
MicroCred Madagascar started its operations with Antananarivo in December 2006. Its mission is to provide finance departments to the microphone, Malagasy small and medium-size companies excluded from the traditional banking system.
