Mickey Track

The Mickey Track is a computing system, developed by Disney, making it possible to deal with tasks of coordination of a music with the follow-up of a fleet of tank at the time of parades in an amusement park.

History

The soundtrack of the parade America one Parades , launched in 1975, was the first project of Don Dorsey for Disney.

During the works preliminary of representation of the parade, Dorsey imagined a system based on coordination and work minute. According to the specifications stipulated by Dorsey, Disney developed a system controlled by computer controlling the music at the time of the representations of the parade. The system was completed and set up in 1980 at Disneyland and was baptized Mickey Track .

The system has had for summer to improve and generalized in all the Disney parks.
