Mickey 3D is a group of French Rock of the area inhabitant of Saint-Etienne founded in 1996.

- Mickaël Furnon known as Mickey : Song, guitar, synthetizer, samples. Author and type-setter of the majority of the songs.
- Aurélien Joanin known as Jojo : Battery, low, happy, percussions (since 1997).
- Najah El Mahmoud: Synthetizer, accordion, piano, song (since 1999).
- Grégory Romestein known as Cat : Low, guitar (at the time of the concerts only)

Biography
Beginnings
The origin of the group goes back to 1996 when Mickaël Furnon alias Mickey , guitarist of the mainly anglophone group 3Dk created in 1988, launches out in a solo project in French whom he baptizes Mickey 3D . It records thus only and parallel to 3dK two cassettes demonstrations over two years, before being joined in 1997 by Aurélien Joanin known as Jojo with which it records a third demonstration. The two accomplices manage with the means of the edge, by arranging sound with modest Synthétiseur S and some pedals of effects for Guitare S in the room of repetition installation at Écotay-l' Olme (close to Saint-Etienne) by their association Keup On' Family .The separation of 3dK in 1998 will lead them to make pass in the foreground what was for them only one project B and to consider the recording of a true album. This album, compilation of the best pieces of the demonstrations increased by some news, will leave in 1999 at the small label First Disc managed by their friends the local radio Radio Dio. Its name: Mistigri Tortures .
The opening
The duet quickly becomes popular in the area of Saint-Etienne, mainly while ensuring in many local concerts, which very quickly point out them. Two determining events then will occur. On a side their meeting with the group Louise Attaque, which makes them pass in first part of its concerts; other their signature at the label Virgin, which brings out their first album in 2000 with a broader distribution and first individual, France is afraid . This then makes it possible the group to bore, more for the choice of the words for its music; it is essential thus like one of the ten best French groups. The texts are caustic, denouncing them through company, and do not seek to make concessions.After a certain number of representations in France, the duet become trio with the arrival of Najah to the keyboards goes back to the work in 2001. He writes the fourteen new songs of the second album the Truce whose texts are always simple and go right in the middle. Two Maxi S will accompany it. The group makes a success of the bet of professionnaliser (they are contract workers since 2000) while keeping the side " bricolage" self-production (certain pieces are still recorded in the room of Mickey).
Success
In 2002, the tube I asked the Moon that Mickaël written for Indo-China made direct the projectors on the group. Many proposals for collaborations will follow. From December 19th to 23rd 2002, the group makes the first part of Renaud to the Zenith of Paris.In 2003, Breathes , a piece militant with connotations ecologists, is the song which propels them on the front of the scene. The album You will not die of laughing of which it is extracted, black and pessimist with the image of individual, is sold with 350.000 specimens. A triumphal round immortalized by the exit of a CD-DVD Live is followed from there to Saint-Etienne containing the new Johnny Reference mark , homage to the player of A.S. Saint-Etienne.
After this song, the group keeps its original style, with the same sound basic type, of vocabulary, and philosophy on the life: the type-setter always equips with same the Cynisme the subjects that it approaches; in June 2005, the last album Matador brings a more musical and lighter tone however. It reinforces the fidelity of a public which is from now on clean for him: the sales equalize almost those of the precedent opus. The group presents its new pieces in the tread at the time of a round-river which extends from the summer 2005 at the summer 2006.
In 2007, the group marks a pause, its members being devoted to their various additional projects, of which an album solo for Mickey (see low).
