Michiru Kaioh

Michiru Kaioh (海王みちる, Kaiō Michiru , to pronounce " mitchirou kaïo") alias Sailor Neptune (セーラーネプチューン, Sērā Nepuchūn , to pronounce " séla népoutchouune") is a heroin of the series TV Sailor Moon ( Bishôjo senshi Sailor Moon ). It is more known under the name of Mylène Kaio in France and Michelle Kaio in addition to the Atlantic. She belongs to warlike Sailors ( Sailor Senshi ) and belongs more particularly to the group of Outer Senshi (the warlike ones of outside), charged to defend the Earth of external invaders.

She appears for the first time in the 3rd season of the series: Super Sailor Moon, first of all hidden in the shade in the form of Sailor Neptune in episodes 89,90 and 91 then in the light as Michiru and Sailor Neptune. It fights the forces of the evil with its partner and amante Haruka Tenoh (Sailor Uranus) in order to recover the Talismans allowing the appearance of the Graal Saint in this season.

In animates as in the manga it seems elegant, brilliant, sometimes cold, and being entirely devoted to its role of warlike Sailor. Very polished and calm it can be also very cold, which is worth to him not to have many friends. Michiru is in Teminale with the college Infinity (" the school of the surdoués") just like Haruka Tenoh and Hotaru Tomoe.

Michiru Kaioh

Michiru is an young girl with the hair and eyes turquoises, color pointing out its element: water. It is a violonist except par, a very good painter and an excellent swimmer. The violin remains its dominant because its dream is to become violonist.

At the school she likes all the matters and collects the beauty products. Its preferred food is the Sashimi and that which she hates more is the cucumber of sea, its color preferred is the navy blue, its blood group is O, she measures 1 m 62 and was born on March 6th (sign astrological: Poisson). Its nightmare are the slugs of sea.

The kanjis of its family name can result in " king of the mer" (of 海 kai sea and 王 O the king). Together they constitute the Japanese name of the Neptune planet: Kaiōsei.

Its creative, Naoko Takeuchi, recognized that Michiru was the opposite of Usagi Tsukino which is greedy and pleurnicharde, and which it was the ideal princess, but also that it was difficult to write for her because of the fact that she is dissimulated much as a whole.

At the time of a conference with San Diego in 1998 she also explained why Michiru had indeed a homosexual relation with Haruka Tenoh, in animates and the manga and that, as opposed to what one tried to make believe in certain countries, Haruka is and would be always a woman.

Into France this relation was transformed by making pass Haruka for a man in normal weather which is transformed into woman when it is in Sailor Uranus, and that in spite of the fact that in episode 92 it was clearly marked that Haruka was a woman. In the Haruka United States and Michiru became cousins and in Germany their relation was " floutée" with doublings.

It should be known that in Japan one does not give the north wind to say oneself hello, and thus if you kiss or intertwine somebody (other that a child or equivalent of a member of your family) that means that you leave with.

Sailor Neptune

Under its identity of warlike sailor, it carries a uniform to the turquoise colors and navy blue, contrary to In Senshi its gloves are shorter.

It is the holder of the one of the three Talismans which, once joined together, make it possible to reveal the Graal saint. In its two attacks are deep submerges (" animates; circle of ice, freezes! ") and submarine reflection , the latter being emitted thanks to the mirror of Neptune, its Talisman and appearing only once in season 3 (the 5th season not having been diffused in France).

In Sailor Neptune animates has only one " évolution" , at the beginning of 5th and last season it is acquired the possibility of being transformed into Super Sailor Neptune, the differences of costume being: the pin of the bow tie of front which has the shape of heart, the collar which has a small star, the shoulder pads which have a small transparent veil and the node of behind which is larger.
