Michelle Tisseyre

Michelle Tisseyre was born with Montreal in 1918. She was one of the outstanding personalities of the radio and the Télévision of French language to the Canada. She is the mother of Charles, Michelle, and Philippe Tisseyre.

She made her beginnings with the Radio-Canada in 1941. Thanks to its bilingualism to work in the two official languages. She was distinguished in 1944 when she was the first with interviewing the president of Mexico, Avila Camacho. She spends then two years to the international Service of Radio-Canada, taking part in the emission the voice of Canada , with Rene Garneau and Rene Lévesque.

She leaves Radio-Canada in 1947 to become freelance journalist. She works then with the radio with CKAC.

She obtains her own television program with the launching of the television of state, Rendez-vous with Michelle , who lasts nine years, of 1953 to 1962. Of 1955 with 1960, it animates also Music-Hall , first variety programme to great deployment where it makes discover many artists now famous.
