Michele Delaunay
Michele Delaunay , born the January 8th 1947 with Clermont-Ferrand (Puy-de-Dôme), is a Cancer ologist and French political woman , member of the Socialist party, elected appointed 2nd district of the Gironde the June 17th 2007.
Biography
Origins, studies and family
Doctor cancer specialist chief of service of dermatology-cancerology of CHU with CHU of Bordeaux, it is girl of Gabriel Delaunay (1907 - 1998), which was president of the Departmental committee of Release (CDL) of the Gironde, and prefect of the Gironde, prefect of the area Aquitaine of 1958 with 1972. His/her mother, Alice Delaunay, were Déléguée to the provisional Consultative Assembly which sat at Paris of the November 7th 1944 with the August 3rd 1945.
Political course
Having taken its chart of the Socialist party only in 2002, Michele Delaunay had agreed to appear in second position on the list enmenée by Gilles Savary in the municipal elections of 2001 in Bordeaux. Alain Juppe having been re-elected with the first turn, it had then entered the municipal opposition.In 2004, it is presented to the cantonal elections vis-a-vis Chantal Bourragué, appointed of Bordeaux and outgoing general adviser of the UMP. She is elected, taking again with the right-hand side a canton which she had held for 45 years.
In November 2004, it fails of 566 votes at the time of the partial legislative election against Hugues Martin. It thus marks its important establishment in this district of the center of Bordeaux, called “district of the mayor” because it was, formerly, offered to the mayor to ensure to him a seat of deputy without risk.
At the time of the legislative elections of 2007, Michele Delaunay is invested by the socialist party against Alain Juppe in the 2nd district of the Gironde. In ballotage at the time of the first turn with 31,16% of the voices compared with 43,73% with Alain Juppe, it beats it with the second turn with 50,93% of the voices (670 votes of variation). It has gained in Bordeaux in a district held by the line for more than 60 years.
