Michele Anne De Mey
Michele Anne De Mey is a Danseuse and Belgian choreographer born with Brussels in 1959.
She studies with the École Mudra of 1976 with 1979 and takes part in several creations of Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, whose Fase celebrates it (1982).
She signs her first choreography, Preterit , in 1981. With Sinfonia Eroica (1990), it founds its company and association “Astragale”. It also signed the choreography of two films: Coils Sonnets (1993) and 21 studies to dance (1999), carried out by his/her brother Thierry De Mey.
Since July 1st 2005, it is the principal artistic director of Charleroi/Danses.
