Michel Vialatte

Michel Vialatte , born on July 18th, 1959 with Mulhouse, carried out a career of territorial senior official and town councilor.
He first of all was principal private secretary of the Secretary of State near the Prime Minister, in the second government of Jacques Chirac (1986-1988). Then he was executive vice president then managing director of the services of the the Essonne, between 1988 and 1996 whole while exercising the mandates of city council man Besancon in the Doubs of March 1989 in September 1997 as well as general adviser of Doubs (Canton of Besancon-west, RPR) of March 1992 in March 1998.
Michel Vialatte was managing director of the company Saint-Maclou of November 2000 in October 2001.
He is the author of two books published one in 1992, the other in 1994:
- " Bisons large teint" (Cêtre editions)
- " The Besancon-native dictionary of the alternance" (editions E=MC2)
Named principal private secretary of the mayor of Nice (the Alpes-Maritimes, 350.000 inhabitants) in March 1996, he will become managing director of the services of the town hall of September 1997 in November 1999 then of November 2001 in March 2003. He was the first managing director of the services of the Communauté of agglomeration of Nice-Coast of Azure, created in January 2002 and of which he installed the administration.
Put in examination for passive corruption, trading of favors and offense of favoritism with seven other people in 2003, he was penally condemned on June 11th, 2004 to 5 years of prison including eighteen month with deferment by the magistrates' court of Nice (see the Affaire Vialatte on this subject).
