Michel Schifres

Michel Schifres , born on May 1st, 1946 with Orleans in the Loiret, is a French journalist.

Studying with the Training center of the Journalists (CFJ), Michel Schifres was writer with Combat (1970-1972), with the Monde (1972-1974), chief of the political service of the Quotidien of Paris (1974-1976).

He enters to the Sunday newspaper in 1977 as political department head, before being an assistant editor association about it (1979-1982), editor association (1982-1986), assistant editor of the drafting (1986-1989).

He joined then France Soir as director of the drafting (1989-1992), then Le Figaro as assistant editor of the drafting (1992-1998) and delegate president of the drafting (1998-2000).
