Michel Roos

Michel Roos is a player of failures and university French, born with Strasbourg in 1932 and deceased in Strasbourg the 7 sptembre 2002.

After its studies of medicine, it specializes in the Histologie and teaching. Professor at the medical college of Strasbourg, it founds a laboratory of bio-statistics and was vice-president of the University Louis-Pasteur.

With the failures, it is formed by Gaston Wolf and becomes one of the best French players. It governs the destinies of the Circle of failures of Strasbourg, French club emblematic of decades 1970/80. Louis Roos is champion of France by correspondence in 1957. In 1958 it shares the first place of the championship of France with Claude Lemoine, but is beaten with decides between. In 1964, in Montpellier, it obtains finally the title while beating with decides between Guy Mazzoni.

His Jacqueline wife is large female international Master of the ICCF (play by correspondence) and his/her four children all are international Masters:

  • Celine (on a purely female basis)
  • Louis Roos, which gained in its turn the championship of France 1977
  • Daniel Roos
  • Jean-Luc Roos
