Michel Rabagliati

Michel Rabagliati (1961 with Montreal -) is a bedeist Québécois. Its most known character of cartoon is Paul , young man simple who shares his daily joys.

Born in the district from Rosemont in Montreal, Rabagliati works in graphics as from 1980 and launches out in the advertizing and leading illustration as from 1988. Consequently, he works for various magazines of Montreal, Toronto and the the United States.

Admiror of Andre Franquin, it puts himself seriously at the cartoon at the 38 years age and creates his character Paul , published with the Editions of Water melon.

In 2003, its second title Paul with a work of summer gains the price Bédélys Quebec, the Bédéis price caused decreed by the Festival of the French-speaking cartoon of Quebec, as well as a Harvey Award in the United States. Since, several prices were decreed to him of which Doug Wright Award for the best Canadian cartoon in 2006 as well as a special mention of the Price of the booksellers of Quebec in 2006 for the whole of its work.
