Michel Oreste
Michel Oreste Lafontant says Michel-Oreste is a former president of Haiti (1859 - death supposed in 1918).
He is elected the May 12th 1913 during one time of disorder following the death of Tancrède Auguste.
He had to resign the January 27th 1914 under the pressure of an insurrection.
Following its resignation, a committee civilo-soldier was charged to ensure the order after its departure; it is the Committee of Public Hello carried out by Edmond Polynice which lasted until the February 8th 1914 and the election of Oreste Zamor, a former military commander of the department of Artibonite, which triumphed easily over its rivals of North and was made elect president by the National Assembly.
